The Joy of Football

Many supporters take their club scoring a goal for granted. Some clubs, such as the Big Four are expected to win every match, so scoring a goal is small potatoes, in the end. But for Queen’s Park Rangers, one goal means everything. The club hadn’t scored a goal in the Premiership (or for that matter, won a match) since 1996. What does it feel like to get the club’s first goal in 15 years?

From a neutral fan’s point of view, this is what magic looks like. Good on you, QPR.  Something tells me Tommy Smith is going to receive his fair share of free pints around Shepherd’s Bush for a while.
